Steven Adam
Vice President, Business Development
A published author, and sought-out public speaker, Mr. Steven Adam has deep roots in the worldwide semiconductor and microelectronics licensing industry. As one of the founding members of Pachira, Steven has global responsibility for Pachira's business development. He brings to this role more than 20 years of experience in management, sales, business development, licensing and strategic alliances.
Prior to joining Pachira, Mr. Adam was vice president, Patent Intelligence at Chipworks and was responsible for the overall operation of the business unit, including sales, marketing, program management and engineering.
Before joining Chipworks, Steven Adam was with Ottawa-based Corel Corp. where he licensed WordPerfect and other software to PC manufacturers, before joining two separate start-up software companies in a business development management capacity. Steven has been a member of the Licensing Executives Society (LES) for more than eight years and has served as the co-chair of the Semiconductor Sub-Committee of the High Tech Sector. Steven is also a member of the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO).
